Hot days call for cool makes, and if your closet is feeling a little uninspired lately - this is your sign to sew yourself something new. We’ve been stocking the shop with fresh fabrics and tried-and-true patterns that are just so good for warm-weather stitching. Think breathable, bright, and easy to wear.
If you’re dreaming of floaty dresses, linen shorts, or a comfy top you’ll live in all summer, we’ve got you covered.
Let’s talk fabric first.
We just added a new batch of ReStash fabrics, and there are some absolute gems in there - vintage florals, soft cottons, ikats, and more. (If you like the idea of your make being a one-of-a-kind, this is where you want to start.)

In case you haven't heard of our ReStash collection, let me fill you in. These are fabrics that are being given a new chance at life! We purchased these fabrics from the community to help give them a new home. Why let fabric just sit in a stash when someone else could turn it into a new garment piece? Because of this, ReStash fabrics are a once-in-a-lifetime listing. We won't ever restock the specific fabrics you see here, so if you love it, grab it!

Need something lighter? Our Strawberry Lawn in navy or pale pink is perfect for swishy skirts and breezy tops. Or if you’re headed poolside this summer, we’ve got bold spandex prints ready for your next DIY swimsuit moment.
And yes, we’ve got the patterns.
If you’re not sure what to make next, here are a few that are calling out for a summer sew:
- Donny Shirt: Linen, lawn, or even cotton sateen - this is the go-to for effortless layering (or not layering - hello, heat).

- Saturday Skirt Set: Flowy, fun, and cute enough to dress up or down. Pairs great with those vintage florals.

- Chanterelle Shorts or Pants: These are a summer staple. Make them in canvas, linen, or anything with a little structure.

- Limestone Leggings & Elysian Bodysuit: Swimwear-friendly if you use our spandex, but honestly, comfy enough for everyday wear too.

- Fringe Dress: A solid choice for something light and easy to wear. Bonus points if you use something from the ReStash section.

- If you’re into matching sets, the Saguaro Set is another winner - and we love it in something like Cairo Linen or any soft woven.

Need your PDF printed?
No need to tape 20 pages together at your kitchen table. Just upload your A0 pattern file, and we’ll print it for you! You can skip straight to cutting and sewing (aka the fun part).

Whatever you decide to make, we hope this summer brings you that sweet combo of creativity + comfort. Grab some fabric, pick your pattern, and make something you’ll actually want to wear in this heat.
You can browse all our garment fabrics here, check out our summer-friendly patterns, or send us your PDFs for A0 printing. We’re always happy to help you pick a combo if you’re not sure where to start - just swing by or drop us a message!
