Are you wondering what to give the wonderful sewist in your life? Look no further! The Wyldwood Creative team has rounded up a few of our favorite things. We’ve conveniently broken down the list by price and by your sewist’s preferred projects below. Whether your loved one sews gorgeous garments or incredible quilts, we’ve polled our community of makers and found out what they really want to unwrap this season. (spoiler, it isn’t another pair of “crafty bitch” socks.)

Gift Card Guide

Still not sure what you’d like to purchase, or want to send your sewist on a shopping spree? A gift card to your local fabric shop (or their favorite online “local” spot) is a wonderful gift to your loved one and the small business community. Here’s a look at what some common gift card amounts could get them:
- $50 – A fat quarter bundle, 2–4 notions and tools, 2 indie garment/quilt patterns, or one garment pattern printed.
- $100 – 3 yards garment fabric (one project), or fabric for a small quilt top.
- $125 – Garment fabric plus PDF pattern printing for one garment, or a medium quilt top.
- $200 – An entire quilt (top, batting, backing, binding), fabric for 2–3 garments, or 2 garments plus a pattern/PDF pattern printing.
- $250.00+ – They love me! They really, really love me! I shall never go hungry (for fabric) again (this year).
Might we also suggest a gift card to a sewing class at your local studio? $75–$150 is a good place to start!

Still feeling overwhelmed and not sure what to do? We’ve got you! Allow us to shop for you and give your beloved sewist a gift box full of goodies chosen just for them. Let us know your budget, a bit about your sewist, and we will take it from there. We’ll wrap each item and make you look like the hero this holiday season.
WWC Mystery Boxes – from $50.00
Short on money, long on love?
Give the gift of your time! Create a gift card worth time for kid-watching, room-tidying, sewing-space sprucing, or a hot meal to be delivered during a stay-in sewing day. A sewist loves nothing more than a few hours of quiet time in a refreshed space full of their favorite snacks (just try not to be too offended when you also must leave).
