Intermediate Sewing - Quilted Pot Holder
Description: Gifting season is upon us and quilted potholders are a great handmade gift option. This class is designed to be a basic introduction to quilting. We will cut and piece a basic quilt block, cover the basics of the quilting process, and bind the potholder.
Students Will Learn:
- Piecing with 1/4" seam allowance
- Basting Quilt top, batting and backing
- Machine Quilting on a domestic machine

Binding
Class Duration: 4 hrs
Students Bring: You do not need to bring anything for this class! We will supply the sewing machines and all the tools and materials.
Materials Included with Registration: Students will be provided with all the materials to make their project in class.
Skill Level: Intermediate - Students should have completed at least 2-3 sewing projects on their own before taking this class. Students should be comfortable operating a sewing machine, maintaining a consistent seam allowance, be familiar with Right Side vs Wrong Side of fabric, and confident using a rotary cutter.
Age Range: 18+ Teens 13 and up may attend with an adult who is also registered.
