Ready to dip your toes into garment sewing? This beginner-friendly class is the perfect place to start! You’ll learn how to sew a simple and stylish skirt, no pattern required. Just a little math and some fabric magic!
Your finished skirt will feature an elastic waist back (for max comfort), flat front (for max style), side slit (for max ventilation), and yes, it has pockets! It’s comfy, customizable, and just in time for that fleeting Seattle summer.
Whether this is your first garment or you're brushing up on basics, you’ll leave class with a wearable piece and the confidence to keep sewing.
Class Duration: 4 hours

Vibe: Hands-On Focus The project isn’t overly difficult, but it does demand concentration. You’ll need to stay focused, but there’s still time for light socializing between steps.

Not really. We'll be around running the store while you're here and can help you if you have issues with our machines or a small question or two, but if you need more hands-on help with you're sewing we suggest checking out one of our classes instead!
