Does your denim have a hole in it? Learn how to patch that hole with embroidery!
Description: Join us for a 2 hour hands on workshop with fiber artist and author Melissa Galbraith of MCreativeJ. In this class you’ll learn how to get started with visible mending patches. We'll go over different threads and materials to use, and stitches for mending your specific garment. You’ll be able to choose from a variety of threads and nature inspired patterns to create your embroidered patch. You will need to bring a denim item to stitch your patch onto.

Attendees will need to bring their own denim item to stitch on.
Materials Included:
A full kit is included with this class and comes with full skeins of DMC thread in various colors, transfer designs, a wood embroidery hoop, an embroidery needle, and printed instructions.
Skill Level: Beginner Level 1 no previous embroidery experience required
Age Range: This class is designed for adults. Teens 15+ may register with an adult who is also registered for the class.

Absolutely! We have machines here that you're welcome to use, but if you'd rather use your own that's just fine.

Not really. We'll be around running the store while you're here and can help you if you have issues with our machines or a small question or two, but if you need more hands-on help with you're sewing we suggest checking out one of our classes instead!
