Description: Improv piecing can be daunting for if you're a rule follower! In this class we will break it down and show you how to play with your fabric and create something totally unique! We will teach you our method for fast improv piecing that is fun and playful. We will focus more on learning the technique VS making a finished project. This class will push you out of your comfort zone. In a good way! At the end of class you should have a pieced panel ready to made into a mini quilt, table runner, or added on to create a larger quilt.
Class Duration: 2 hours
Students Bring: Please bring scrap fabric to work with! We will have a small selection of scraps available at class. We will provide all the sewing machines and tools needed to piece your fabric. If you have preferred tools that you like to use you are welcome to bring those. Tools we'll have available:
Cutting mats, rotary cutters, and rulers
Iron + ironing board
Pins
Sewing Machines
Scissors
Snips
Seam Rippers
Skill Level: Beginner level 3 - Students should have completed 1-2 quilts on their own. Students should be comfortable using a rotary cutter, maintaining a consistent .25" seam allowance, and using a sewing machine.
Age Range: Adults 18+

- Cancellation Notice: Makers are kindly requested to provide a minimum of 72 hours' notice in the event of needing to cancel or reschedule a class. This advance notice allows us to accommodate other makers and make any necessary adjustments to our schedule.
- Refunds: Any class cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance will receive either a full refund on a gift card, or a full refund minus a $5 card processing fee to the card used for registration. This fee accounts for the costs associated with the transaction.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class start time and no shows will forfeit the registration fee.
